APPRENTICE / DEMO NOTES
Real work.
A safe little sandbox.
The videos on this site were recorded from actual Apprentice executors. The page around the browser and the project trace provide presentation; verification comes from the working software.
The monthly ritual.
The production browser executor runs the reviewed monthly-report workflow against the local mock portal: sign in, download a fresh report, select September, enter 1,500, upload the downloaded CSV, and submit. All eight steps verify, including the portal's final submission.
A new look. Same job.
The same workflow runs against the mock portal with renamed buttons and labels plus reversed card positions. Targets use the existing DOM-first strategy and CSS fallback. The resulting submission is checked again.
From folder to finished.
This video is a live execution trace, rather than a recording of the whole desktop. The production surface router creates a report folder, writes a synthetic note, moves and verifies that note, then launches a real Python test command in a fresh project. It checks exit code 0 and a new JUnit report containing one passing test.
What stays private.
- No real recording, desktop screenshot, private environment file, or personal document is used.
- The browser uses the username
demoand a synthetic password. The password appears only as masked input. - All run artifacts and working files are stored in the landing repository's ignored demo folders.
- The published source ZIP contains source, synthetic fixtures, tests, and reviewed examples. It excludes private recordings, runs, and environments.
About the numbers.
The Phase 5 regression suite passed 303 tests, with one opt-in GUI test skipped. Its browser release checks cover six mock portal variants: baseline, moved, renamed, banner, dark, and zoom. A separate actual Windows Explorer → VS Code → terminal acceptance also passed.
